ATTICO MILAN
Milanese it girls, Giorgia Tordini & Gilda Ambrosio started their brand, with a formal preparation in Fashion, although previously, they have been showing their best looks in the streets of Fashion Week NY, where I met Gilda back in 2015.
During February 2016 they decided to embark on ATTICO a new fashion project based on eclectic, colorful, romantic standout pieces.
With Chasing Rainbows collection, offered during last Milan Fashion Week, (Paula my argentine friend living in Milan, and me) enjoyed their colorful and vivid presentation, set in an extraordinay Milanese palazzo located in the heart of the Quadrilatero de la moda.
Surrounded by brocade tapestry walls, and Chesterfield sofas, the duo of designers welcomed friends and worldwide press, with glam deconstructed looks, drinks and music. Great ambience, is always attractive.
Their dresses, a mix of romance, bohochic style and with ultra italian fabrics, were all a dream. From a sixties mini slip style to a forties tea dress, mostly all sparked with metallic accents of gold, silver red and blue. Simple night japanese style robes stole the attention too. Perhaps the piece that resembles most Gilda´s own style
The concept in general is to offer women a total look, with shoes included, which they address with style, charm and an inevitable and magnificent italian flair.
The brand is already selling at Bergdorfs NYC, The Webster Miami, and Antonia Milan, stores, amongst stores around the world, and you can also find it online at www.netaporter, moda operandi, or Saks
Grazie Karla Otto team.
